We have a socially responsible and rigorous approach to the marketing of our products, following the corporate policy of product governance. Through our Transparency Committee, we work to guarantee transparency in the design and marketing of our financial instruments, banking products and savings and investment insurance.
Our Transparency Committee, which reports to the Product Strategic Committee, oversees the quality and effectiveness of new products and services, and assesses their characteristics, associated risks and their adaptation to the standards of transparency and customer protection.
Within the product governance framework of CaixaBank, the Product Strategy Committee is informed on a semi-annual basis of all products and services discussed in the Transparency Committee. Additionally, semi-annually, through the Global Risk Committee, information about new products or services, or significant modifications to existing ones, is presented to the Risk Committee, which in turn reports to the Board of Directors. The selection of products will be carried out considering criteria of novelty, marketing conditions, differential impact on the risk profile, or economic significance.
We are also voluntarily associated to "Autocontrol", the Independent Advertising Self-Regulatory Organisation, which follows good advertising practices.
