At CaixaBank, we take into account sustainability factors in the provision of our advisory services with regard to investment and discretionary portfolio management and other products. We are committed to sustainability, and we are strongly implicated with social, economic and environmental development, with a view to providing the best products and services to our customers.

We take into account ESG criteria (environmental, social and good governance) in our investment analysis process, as well as traditional financial and risk criteria. In addition, and in keeping with the regulations on the disclosure of information regarding sustainability in the financial services sector, we work on improving communication on the application of sustainability criteria in investment decision-making.

We carry out numerous initiatives to integrate these sustainability factors into the management of our products, in compliance with the corporate framework of sustainability risk established for the CaixaBank Group, as well as with numerous international agreements and standards in this area that place us as a benchmark company in sustainable investment.

Our priority is to respect the fundamental right of personal data protection, as well as to preserve the confidentiality of the data we manage of our customers, suppliers and collaborators.

At CaixaBank we have a daily centralized review process of the registrations and modifications of our clients' data that guarantees the integrity of said data.

The Privacy Committee, which reports to the Management Committee, is the governing body and decides on all aspects related to privacy and personal data protection.

Additionally, at CaixaBank we carry out internal audits on compliance with the Privacy Policy.

In our commitment to anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism, we establish measures and periodic reviews to prevent, as far as possible, our products and services from being used for illegal practices.

The preventive measures are basically organised around enhanced due diligence measures applied for those customers and situations where there is a higher risk of money laundering. Specific highlights include:

• Formal policies and procedures have been introduced to establish remote relationships including validation of submitted documents and verification of identity through independent contact with customers. These procedures have been established in line with Spanish and European Union regulations. In particular, the Spanish UIF (SEPBLAC) has approved a specific procedure for this type of relationship, on which the CaixaBank regulations are based.
• Formal policies and procedures have been introduced to establish relationships with individuals with public responsibilities (PRP), which cover the identification, periodic review and monitoring of transactions, as well as authorisation by a higher management level: an internal committee comprising executives from the commercial, control and compliance areas grants authorisation for new customers and ratifies current customers.

In addition, our teams receive training and ongoing refreshers to discretely and actively prevent money laundering.

We have a socially responsible and rigorous approach to the marketing of our products, following the corporate policy of product governance. Through our Transparency Committee, we work to guarantee transparency in the design and marketing of our financial instruments, banking products and savings and investment insurance.

Our Transparency Committee, which reports to the Product Strategic Committee, oversees the quality and effectiveness of new products and services, and assesses their characteristics, associated risks and their adaptation to the standards of transparency and customer protection.

Within the product governance framework of CaixaBank, the Product Strategy Committee is informed on a semi-annual basis of all products and services discussed in the Transparency Committee. Additionally, semi-annually, through the Global Risk Committee, information about new products or services, or significant modifications to existing ones, is presented to the Risk Committee, which in turn reports to the Board of Directors. The selection of products will be carried out considering criteria of novelty, marketing conditions, differential impact on the risk profile, or economic significance.

We are also voluntarily associated to "Autocontrol", the Independent Advertising Self-Regulatory Organisation, which follows good advertising practices.
