At CaixaBank we are constantly working to build and improve our relationship with suppliers and we consider it essential to integrate ethical, social and environmental factors to our entire value chain. To do so, we establish links with suppliers and collaborators that share our commitment to sustainable and responsible development of the environment.
We work with suppliers that:
- Implement best practices with regard to transparency, social and environmental well-being and good corporate governance.
- Respect human and labour rights and share our commitment.
We ensure this, by making agreements with our suppliers with a mandatory acceptance clause in which they promise to abide by the 10 principles of the United Nations Global Compact , and by the the Supplier code of conduct.
Our Supplier portal enables companies to register in order to offer their services as suppliers and, where necessary, to comply with ethical, social, and environmental standards:
