CaixaBank's Management Committee appoints Belén Martín as new Head of Private Banking

• With over 25 years of banking experience, Belén Martín was previously the regional director of CaixaBank in Castile and León.

CaixaBank’s Management Committee has appointed Belén Martín as the new Head of CaixaBank Private Banking, replacing Víctor Allende, who is leaving the bank after ten years in the position.

Belén Martín was the regional director of CaixaBank in Castile and León. With more than 25 years’ experience in the banking sector, before joining CaixaBank she was corporate director and Head of Business Banking at Bankia and throughout her career has held responsibilities in the divisions of Retail Banking and Corporate Banking. She holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Autonomous University of Madrid and an MBA from IADE and completed executive programs at both ESADE and IE Business School.

Additionally, Belén Martín is vice president and counsellor of the APD (Association for the Progress of Management, in its Spanish acronym) in Castile and León and was vice president of the Spanish Association of Executives and Board members.
