The firm's assets have grown by more than 4.9 billion euro
The assets held in investment funds by InverCaixa, CaixaBank's fund management firm, reached a total of 19.7 billion euro, according to figures from Inverco as per 31 August, thanks to its sales expertise and the incorporation of Banca Cívica Gestión de Activos and 16 funds from Banco de Valencia.
InverCaixa has recorded powerful growth in recent years, consolidating its position as the third largest management firm in the Spanish market. It's market share has grown from 6.91% in 2008 to 14.15% at present.
Growth in 2013
Up to August, InverCaixa recorded net capital inflows of close to 2 billion euro, seeing its assets grow by more than 4.9 billion thanks to new funds such as FonCaixa Rentas 2016 (optimizing tax savings for customers) and FonCaixa Garantía Renta Fija 2017. Growth also came from the range of funds that has had the most commercial success, the Elección range, based on the mixed fund or portfolio of funds format and with three different risk profiles (Balance, Growth and Opportunity). The Elección range provides comprehensive management and adjusts to each customer's needs. It recorded net inflows in excess of 525 million euro in 2013 and has total assets of 1.65 billion euro. Growth was also driven by the incorporation of funds from Banca Cívica and Banco de Valencia.
In 2013 InverCaixa's assets held in investment funds have grown by 33%. It now has more market investors than any other management firm, with close to 720,000 investors. This asset growth was driven by the expertise of sales staff at CaixaBank branches and the management, suitability and quality of the funds that they sell.
